ATLANTA, GA and Eagan, MN, September 3, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Zep Inc. (NYSE: ZEP), a leading consumable chemical packaged goods company that manufactures a wide variety of highperformance maintenance and cleaning chemicals, today announced the grand opening of Zep Vehicle Care’s new, state of the art, world headquarters. The opening of this new facility, located in Eagan, Minnesota, marks a major milestone in the evolution of Zep Inc.’s commercial car wash business. “We couldn’t be more excited about our new space. This is the first time in more than10 years that we’ve been able to combine our industry leading research and development team under the same roof as our
other business leaders,” noted Zep Vehicle Care president, Steve Nichols. “Our new headquarters will significantly enhance our teams’ creativity, teamwork and agility while helping our customer’s deliver more of the game-changing innovation that we have been known for,” continued Nichols. Zep Vehicle Care’s new 12,000 square foot facility includes a fully equipped and dedicated laboratory (more than twice the size of the last lab they occupied), administrative and leadership offices, a large training facility and will soon also house an operational car wash designed for testing new innovations. “The Zep Vehicle Care team has a proven track record of understanding their customers’ needs and delivering solutions that drive revenue and profit for those customers,” said John K.
