MacEwen acquires Jack Smith Fuels

MacEwen Petroleum has announced the expansion of their western Ontario footprint through the acquisition of Tilbury, Ont.-based Jack Smith Fuels.

Founded in 1970, Jack Smith Fuels has a long-standing history of providing service and fuel products to the people and businesses of Windsor/Essex County, Chatham/Kent and surrounding areas. Jack Smith Fuels is known for its delivered fuels, bulk lubricants and DEF, along with a wide assortment of packaged products. 

Headquartered in Maxville, Ont., MacEwen Petroleum Inc. is a Canadian-owned and operated fuel and convenience provider that has built and sustained strong customer relationships for more than 40 years with products that include transportation and home heating fuels. MacEwen Petroleum Inc. is also a retail branded distributor of Esso fuels to Esso-branded service stations in Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba. MacEwen owns and operates Esso-branded service stations throughout Ontario and Quebec as well as operates Country Line c-stores.
