Lisa Hutcheson is a seasoned retail expert with nearly 30 years experience starting her career on the sales floor and later holding senior leadership roles for two of Canada’s largest multi-store retailers. There she led teams of over 1,000 associates, driving major corporate strategic initiatives. Lisa’s current focus involves developing retail strategy for retailers, shopping centres, BIAs, as well as store operations and people.

Lisa is a sought-after speaker on retail best practices and innovation and is frequently quoted in media interviews. Lisa has co-authored books for the Retail Council of Canada and serves as an adjunct Professor teaching Omni-channel Marketing and Organizational Management. In 2019, she was appointed to Managing Partner at J.C. Williams Group, a renowned retail consulting firm specializing in strategy, research and real estate planning.
