Costco adds gas in Sudbury, Ont.

Costco Canada has reported that it is building a 24-position gas station in Greater Sudbury.

Work is expected to begin spring 2022.

On offer will be three levels of gasoline with no diesel available. The site will be open standard Costco hours.

The gas station is open to Costco members only. The company's approach to gasoline is the same as inside the warehouse: "high volume and low prices." The gas station will be self-serve, with pay-at-the-pump technology. 

Most sides features one-way traffic, which makes it easier to handle line ups and get in and out of stations quickly. Plus. extra-long hoses allow fuelling from either side of the vehicle, so there is no concern with which lane to choose.

Costco sells Regular unleaded (87 octane), Premium unleaded (91 octane), and Diesel (at select locations only).
