Nominations are open for Convenience Store News Canada’s 2023 Future Leaders in Convenience Awards
Convenience Store News Canada (CSNC) is proud to launch the Future Leaders in Convenience Awards (FLIC). We are now accepting nominations for the inaugural 2023 FLIC awards, celebrating young stars in Canada’s dynamic c-gas industry.
The FLIC 2023 nominations are open to individuals under the age of 40 (as of December 31, 2023) in all areas of the convenience and gas channel and also includes distributors, vendors, associations and CPG professionals.

No matter how big or small the company, we encourage you to take a few minutes to nominate a young leader that demonstrates:
- A commitment to a career in convenience/gas and related areas
- Innovation through the work they are doing and unique ideas they bring to the table
- Leadership through the capacity to inspire and learn from others
- Initiative by getting involved on a larger level, i.e., through committees, associations, events, charitable work or community relations.
There is no fee to nominate (you can nominate multiple future leaders). Make sure to let us know about the nominee’s accomplishments and give us specific examples where the nominee has demonstrated leadership, innovation and a commitment to the industry or the community.
Nominations close on September 8, 2023. Winners will be announced and profiled in the November/December 2023 issue of Convenience Store News Canada and will be invited to a networking event in March.
