Show you care with Excel WHITE
For the fourth consecutive year, Excel WHITE has teamed up with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to run its well-known consumer campaign, Chew Because You Care. C-store retailers can get involved with this important partnership by making room for the promotional prepack in store.
In 2012, the promotion had grown by +103% and will continue to grow with the support of retailers and consumers who care.
How it works
The promotion is simple: all your customers have to do is buy a pack of gum. A portion of each pack of specially marked Excel WHITE gum sold during the promotional period goes to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
To date, Wrigley has raised more than $250,000 to help find a cure.
As a c-store retailer, you can offer your customers a way to get involved in this important cause by carrying and promoting this product in your store. Ensure the prepack display is in a highly visible location, such as near the cash desk, and engage in conversation with your customers about the impact their purchases can have.
How to succeed
One of the key components to running this promotion successfully is making room for Excel WHITE displays on the retail floor. Remember, proceeds from every pack sold go toward the cause, so the more excitement you can build in store, the better.
