2026 Impact Awards Winner: SRP Companies Canada

COMMUNITY SERVICE | LOCAL IMPACT | GIVING BACK
9/8/2026

At SRP Canada, the mission is to “Exceed the expectations of on-the-go consumers” and to “Be your strategic retail partner.” However, the organization’s vision extends well beyond retail shelves. The company operates on the belief that true corporate partnership involves nurturing the communities it serves.

Throughout 2025 and 2026, SRP Canada channeled its core values into a series of initiatives designed to spark meaningful change, with a focus on youth support, community engagement, environmental stewardship and small business advocacy.

The company’s community impact began with efforts to support local youth and families. In July 2025, SRP Canada distributed more than 600 bags of Takis snacks to organizations, such as the Toronto City Mission and various local daycare centres, reaching children across the Greater Toronto Area. Recognizing that local economies thrive on diversity, the company dedicated October 2025 to championing independent retailers through its corporate blog and LinkedIn platform, celebrating the entrepreneurs who anchor local neighbourhoods.

The 2025 holiday season highlighted the charitable spirit of the SRP Canada workforce. Through an internal Christmas raffle and a Food & Toy Drive, employees raised vital funds for the SickKids Foundation and Autism Ontario, while delivering non-perishable food items and toys to area families through Richmond Hill Fire & Emergency Services. This culture of generosity extended internationally in March 2026, when the organization supported a humanitarian mission to Malawi, Africa, providing school supplies and toys to over 200 children in underserved communities.

Commitment to the next generation continued in June 2026 at the Circle K Froster Active Kids Charity Golf Event. By supporting programs that foster confidence and inclusion through sports, SRP Canada helped empower youth to pursue healthy, active lifestyles. Looking forward, the company is planning a community clean-up for World Environment Day and is exploring partnerships with women’s shelters and the Toronto District School Board to provide essential tech-related accessories, such as phone chargers, and seasonal apparel to help support women during times of transition and need.
