Dencar Technology’s proprietary solution prevents fraud at car wash operations
Dencar Technology has made a proprietary vehicle identification automation technology, VIA Guard LPR, to help car wash operations reduce fraud and increase membership plan uptake.
The technology works by allowing a vehicle owner that is not currently on a car wash operation’s membership plan to use the wash operations by sending a vehicle owner an app or text notification asking if they want to pay for the wash at the regular purchase price or add the vehicle and upgrade their membership to a family plan. Because their payment information is already recorded within Dencar’s system, they can complete the transaction directly from their device.

In this way, car wash operations ensure that the wash is paid for and incentivizes a vehicle owner to upgrade to a membership plan that is both more advantageous to the vehicle owner and profitable over time for the car wash operation while maintaining and reinforcing customer loyalty.
