Hasty Market signs new franchise agreement for The Market concept
Hasty Market announced through LinkedIn that it has signed a franchise agreement for it’s The Market urban neighbourhood store concept.
Marietta Cini, senior director of store operations and franchise sales with Hasty Market posted on LinkedIn that a new franchise agreement has been signed for “The Market Concept in the Greater Toronto Area!”
With this agreement, The Market brand will grow to four locations in Ontario, with two locations in Hamilton, one in Ingersoll and this new one in the Greater Toronto Area.
No further information was provided as to the location of this new The Market or when it would open.

The first The Market location opened on April, 22 in Hamilton at 165 James St. South. When it opened, Hasty Market described the new location as “Where Convenience Meets Community”. It has some 5,000 sq-ft. of floor space and stocks traditional convenience store staples along side groceries, prepared meals to-go, fresh coffee and smoothies and other food and meal items.
Added to the mix of offerings is also beverage alcohol that Cini said the selection of which on the shelves could be tailored to meet local drinking trends and demands.
