Istobal sees double-digit increase in sales last year

The company also reported an 8% increase in the private car wash market compared to last year.

Car wash and care solutions company, Istobal, increased its sales by 12% in 2022 to 163.9 million Euros, according to its pre audit results. 

The Valencia, Spain-based company internationalized 72% of its production last year. In 2022, Spain remained the main market for Istobal, but the U.S. and the U.K. have become the main export countries for the group, followed by Denmark, France and Italy. Turkey also entered the top 10 key markets for the company. 

Istobal’s biggest turnover is still the sale of its machinery, with the leading sales of washing bridges, followed by its service and consumables lines (which includes chemicals). 

The company also saw an 8% increase in the private car wash market compared to last year.  

For 2023, the company reports that it is focused on increasing turnover in existing markets, with a focus on the U.S. and China, where it sees great growth potential.

Istobal is based in Valencia, Spain and designs, manufactures and markets car wash and car care solutions globally. The company has 10 subsidiaries and four manufacturing plants in Europe, America and Asia. It is the fourth largest manufacturer of car wash solutions in the world.
