Peter Allen takes over as GM at ITWAL

Following a recent promotion, Peter Allen is now vice-president and general manager, ITWAL Limited.

Allen joined ITWAL in October of 2007 as director, business development, retail, bringing with him a wealth of experience within the confectionery industry. Allen started his career with Wrigley Canada in 1988 as a territory manager and progressed over the years to director of wholesale gas and convenience, also spending some time as director, wholesale accounts at Cadbury. 

In a release, ITWAL president and CEO Ross Robertson said Allen's "extensive experience and knowledge of the confectionery industry and the full line wholesale distributor has served him well at ITWAL." Allen was promoted to vice-president in 2017. In his current capacity, he "has very ably demonstrated to members and suppliers alike, that he has the ability and attitude to effectively lead the company going forward and build on what has been established."
