Two long-time and respected executives at Core-Mark have announced they have left Core-Mark, a major distributor and solutions provider to the North American retail convenience industry, to take on new roles.

Chuck Arcand took to LinkedIn to announce that he has taken on the role of national sales director of Big Chief Meat Snacks, a Canadian producer of beef jerky snacks, after nearly 15 years with Core-Mark, first at Canadian Marketing manger starting in 2009 and then as corporate director of Canadian Marking starting in 2011.

Arcand posted on LinkedIn that “Core-Mark is a great company and has always been extremely supportive and fair. I’ve been able to take away great learnings and hopefully I’ve provided some leadership and knowledge to those I leave behind. The Associate at Core-Mark are amazing individuals.”

When speaking with Convenience Store News Canada, Arcand said his work with Big Chief Meat Snacks will be on getting the company’s products into more grocery and convenience store chains where he says they are under indexed.
