2026 Future Leader in Convenience + Car Wash winner: JESSICA CHONG

Described as a strategic and creative thinker who leverages her analytical skills to become the customer's go- to for promotion building, Jessica Chong has turned around the 7-Eleven business for Mondelēz, improving sales and share within the past year through innovative programs and collaborating with the customer.

Leaving her previous role two years ago and joining a new industry proved challenging.

“I had to rely on my analytical and relationship-building skills to quickly find my feet and build connections. I was able to adapt and learn quickly and find areas where I could apply my previous knowledge and experience to bring growth and success to my customers,” she says.

“As a relative newcomer to the convenience industry, I’ve connected with so many amazing people and have been able to learn from them. Convenience is ever evolving and presenting new challenges, and I’m most excited when I can work with a customer to find creative solutions so we can achieve success together. Winning this award has been an amazing highlight and I feel grateful to be recognized by my organization, as well as the industry.”
