2026 Future Leader in Convenience + Car Wash winner: UDAYA LALITH ROHITH SUNKARAPALLI

Udaya Lalith Rohith Sunkarapalli, who was nominated four times for this award, has been leading the successful stabilization and growth of the Kamloops Express Auto Wash location while managing a system-wide software transition.

“Being the key point of operational expertise during this change, I guided multiple teams through the transformation while maintaining exceptional wash quality, customer satisfaction and workflow efficiency. It was a defining moment that tested my ability to lead under pressure, drive innovation and deliver results without compromising service standards,” he says.

Sunkarapalli joined the company in 2022 as a car wash attendant, and thanks to his hands-on, customer-first approach, he quickly advanced to more challenging roles. The car wash industry moves fast, he adds, noting it’s the people and purpose that make it rewarding.
