Bel Group Canada announces two key appointments

Bel Group Canada, a maker of branded cheese products and healthy snacks, announced two new appointments to its management team, Denis Michaud and Anne-Laure Coussot.

Anne-Laure Coussot is taking on the position of vice-president strategy-fruit category, coming to Bel Group Canada after twenty years at Mondelez in France and Canada, where she help positions in national account and sales management.

Denis Michaud

Denis Michaud is taking on the position of vice-president of sales, bringing to the role over twenty years of sales experience in the food industry, having work at McCain Foods, Weston Foods and Nexxus Foods. He will the company’s executive committee and lead the sales team for the Cheese and Fruit categories.

According to Christine Verreault, Vice-Présidente ressources humaines at Bel Canada Group “these appointments reinforce the Bel Canada Group's commitment to maintaining growth momentum and innovation in its product categories.”

Bel Canada Group is a subsidiary of Bel Group, a fifth-generation international family-owned company with distribution in nearly 120 countries. Created in 2005 to boost the development of the group's activities in Canada, the subsidiary now employs 200 people, including 80 at its headquarters in Montreal. Its main brands, Boursin, The Laughing Cow and Babybel.
