The pandemic has been an impetus to pause and reflect, and created important shifts in the consumer marketplace. What does this mean for your business?

Find out at The All New Convenience U CARWACS Show's Conference: Future-Proof Your Business. Whether you operate an independent business, a regional chain or you’re helping steer a multinational, we know you’re looking for valuable information, deep consumer insights and strategies to shape your business decisions and chart success in a post-pandemic world.

With that in mind, we are thrilled to welcome Margaret McKellar, group lead, VP - Kantar Canada. Kantar is a leading global data, insights, and consulting company. In her presentation Canada Outlook – Risk & Responsibility, McKellar will share powerful data from the Kantar Canada Monitor, a syndicated research study that delivers deep insights into people’s passions and priorities, as well as vital macro and emerging trends. She will discuss risk and responsibility, zeroing in on what Canadians’ changing attitudes and values mean for future-proofing your brand.

McKellar sparked her interest in consumer behaviour over 25 years ago as a marketer at Unilever and innovator Corby Spirit and Wine. Today, she leads brand strategy, innovation and customer experience at Kantar Canada, working with clients across several sectors to understand people and unlock growth opportunities through developing a compelling brand purpose and ensuring consistency in all touchpoints.

In addition to insight's from McKellar, attendees will hear from 7-Eleven Canada's Norm Hower, who will deliver his much-anticipated Industry Keynote: The Evolution Continues. Hower will discuss how the international convenience store giant is reinventing the c-store experience by turning stores into multi-faceted testing grounds and what the company is learning about the future of convenience.

Well-known technology expert, TV and radio/podcast host, and author Marc Saltzman will emcee the conference, which takes place Day 1 - September 28, 2021 - of The All New Convenience U CARWACS Show.

In addition to hosting, Saltzman will examine the evolving retail landscape, how your business can benefit from the changing tide, embrace the social revolution, and lay a foundation for a profitable future

The All New 2021 Convenience U CARWACS Show is a must-attend event that consistently showcases innovative products and services, while creating the ideal setting for the industry to garner insights, connect and network, virtually.

“These challenging times demanded a solution that allow people to gather as an industry,” says Ed Several, executive vice president-events & conferences, EnsembleIQ (EIQ), the operators of the show. “We have come up with a virtual model that checks all boxes for attendees and exhibitors. With the new format everyone across the country can gather at the show, virtually,” he says, adding that EIQ assembled a technology stack that its team then integrated to create a package that brings people together under a digital umbrella that delivers added value to both exhibitors attendees.
