Convenience Store In China Hangs From Cliff

A posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, is once more highlighting what some call the most ‘inconvenient’ convenience store in the world.

First reported on by Yahoo!Finance in 2002, this small wooden box convenience store sits on the face of a mountain in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in Hunan province in China, some 120 metres above the ground. The park is a popular tourist spot known for its climbing trails, steep cliffs and waterfalls. The store provides climbers with snacks and refreshments, and a one-of-a-kind view while enjoying them. Supplies are replenished each day for climbers.

This convenience store is once again making the news after @gunsnrosesgirl3 posted some photos of the store in her X feed and generated renewed interest and comments about this unique convenience store.
