Voice of the Toronto Raptors, Jack Armstrong, to delivery March 5th keynote at The Convenience U CARWACS Show

Jack Armstrong, the iconic voice of the Toronto Raptors, coach and award-winning broadcaster, will deliver the Leadership Keynote on March 5, 2025 of the The Convenience U CARWACS Show in Toronto. 

The Convenience Store News Canada team is pleased present two mornings of exciting conference content for Canada’s largest and best-attended convenience, gas and car wash event, which takes place March 4-5, 2025, at the International Centre in Toronto.

The morning conference happens before the Trade Show opens at noon. It's designed to provide valuable content and expert insights for channel leaders and operators to position their businesses for success.

2025 AGENDA 

With Day 2 of the conference being all about Leadership Excellence, who better to kick things off than Armstrong, a high-profile, colourful and entertaining leader, who will share his journey and powerful message about building success. 

The morning will culminate in the Future Leaders in Convenience + Car Wash Awards

A bit about Jack

Best known as the colourful and entertaining voice of the 2019 NBA Championship winning team, the Toronto Raptors, Armstrong has spent more than two decades covering basketball for TSN and NBA TV. Prior to this, he spent a decade as the head basketball coach at Niagara University, where he was named Division I New York State and MAAC Coach of the Year. Armstrong brings his energy, coaching philosophy, and kind heart to every stage, leaving audiences engaged, motivated, and inspired.

At 26, Armstrong became the youngest basketball coach in NCAA Division 1. Prior to joining Niagara University as their head coach, he served four years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Fordham University in New York, where he also earned his BA in history and an MA in public communications.

Armstrong’s broadcast work has earned him multiple Canadian Screen Awards. His vast knowledge and passion are well-known and respected throughout the basketball world, and he is credited with helping an entire nation fall in love with Canada’s basketball team. As TSN’s Basketball Insider, Armstrong keeps fans in the loop on all things NBA and college hoops. Armstrong also joins Toronto Raptors play-by-play announcer Matt Devlin as a game analyst for all Raptors broadcasts on TSN.

Throughout the NBA season, Armstrong is featured in regular segments on TSN’s SportsCentre, and writes a weekly NBA blog for TSN.ca. He is also part of TSN’s in-studio panel throughout the network’s NCAA March Madness coverage.
