2026 Future Leader in Convenience + Car Wash winner: FRANCIS RAINVILLE
Overseeing a network that includes six territory managers and approximately 70 stores, Francis Rainville always demonstrates persistence, creativity, and determination, while building strong relationships and putting people first. Becoming director of operations after only five years in the industry has been a major milestone.
“I had no prior convenience-retail background, so rising quickly into a director role is something I’m proud of,” he says. “But what I value most is the team culture we’ve built along the way: a high-performance group that delivers strong results while genuinely enjoying working together. Achieving that balance between expectations, accountability and happiness at work is the accomplishment I’m most proud of.”
Rainville enjoys working for a fast-growing, family-owned company that offers the resources of a large organization with the agility of a smaller one.
“That balance allows me to have a real, immediate impact, supporting our store teams, improving the customer experience and seeing the results directly in our communities,” he explains.
“I love knowing that the work we do every day truly makes a difference to thousands of people who walk into our locations.”
For Rainville, leadership is rooted in authenticity, respect and collaboration.
“Community building starts within our own teams, creating an environment where people support one another, share best practices and grow together. When people feel valued, included and supported, and when the bar is clear, they naturally deliver a better experience to our customers and communities. These values guide my approach every day.”
