Stepping into her district sales manager role, relocating to Vancouver and learning a new customer base was both a professional and personal milestone for Jade Osagie.

“Leading two provinces, developing my management style, and adapting to a new market strengthened my leadership and shaped who I am today,” she says.

“It was a steep learning curve, but I leaned heavily on my team and remained open to learning from their experience and insights. Their support and dedication helped me adapt quickly and succeed in this new environment. Overcoming that challenge reinforced how powerful teamwork, adaptability, and mutual respect are. I’m proud of how my team continues to show resilience and excellence in a challenging industry—it motivates me every day to lead by example and celebrate every win, big or small.”

Osagie values seeing how JTI’s portfolio continues to evolve and how those innovations strengthen partnerships her team has built with customers, ones based on trust and collaboration.

“What makes me most proud is witnessing my team go above and beyond for our customers. That commitment reflects our culture, where teamwork and customer focus are at the heart of everything we do,” says Osagie, who oversees 10 reps across Manitoba and British Columbia, while driving regional sales performance, coaching the team and ensuring strategic territory coverage.
