7-Eleven Canada is rebranding its fuel in Alberta and Ontario to some of Canada’s most recognizable fuel brands this spring and summer.

Sixty-three of 7-Eleven’s 550 food and beverage convenience locations in Canada offer fuel sales and operate under the 7-Eleven banner. The rebranding of these locations is designed to appeal to customers by pairing the convenience brands with equally well-known fuel providers Petro-Canada and Esso/Mobil.

“7-Eleven is one of Canada’s most trusted and recognized brands,” said Marc Goodman, VP & general manager, 7-Eleven Canada. “And Canadians look to 7-Eleven to serve some of the most recognizable products and brands, be it Slurpee or Big Bite. Transitioning our fuel offerings to some of Canada’s most well-known brands means that we’re giving customers more of the familiar brands they crave in one stop. This change is about enhancing appeal and convenience to our loyal customers, while catering to all their needs.”

The 7-Eleven stores will remain open during and after the transition of fuel branding to Petro-Canada, Esso or Mobil stations, and all 7-Eleven Canada stores’ iconic brands and product and menu offerings will remain unchanged Goodman added.

"The change is designed to appeal to customers by pairing one of the top convenience brands with leading fuel providers," Goodman continued. "Customers will be able to enjoy the Petro-Canada, Esso or Mobil loyalty programs for fuel purchases, in addition to earning 7Rewards points plus the fuel partners’ points on eligible in-store purchases."

The changes will be implemented beginning mid-April with expected completion by the end of the summer. The introduction of new fuel partners will be celebrated with promotional events designed to engage the local community, including in-store offers, free fuel giveaways and more.

All 7-Eleven store’s brands and menu offerings will remain unchanged, and all eligible in-store purchases will earn customers both 7Rewards points and the fuel partner’s loyalty programs.
