Aisle 24 is offering the chance for some lucky shoppers a 24-second shopping sprint at its soon to be opened location in Toronto’s The Well this coming Friday, November 17, a massive mixed-use development in downtown Toronto.

According to the Aisle 24’s Facebook page, winners for the shopping sprint will be chosen from amongst new shoppers who registered for the first time on its mobile app before end of day on November 13. The lucky winners will be provided one basket/bag to fill with as many grocery and convenience product items as they can within a 24-second time limit. Contest winners will receive at no charge all qualifying items they select during the shopping sprint event within the time limit.

The 1,700 sq.-ft. Aisle 24 location was first in September by RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust.

“RioCan and Allied are very excited to welcome retail tenants to The Well, our flagship mixed-use development in Toronto. RioCan has carefully curated a mix of dynamic and diverse tenants that define The Well as an extension of the vibrant and thriving King West district,” said Jonathan Gitlin, president and chief executive officer of RioCan in a release announcing many of the new tenants coming to the 320,000 sq.-ft. of reimagined retail and food service. “The ideal combination of location, thoughtful pedestrian-focused design, and community building establishes The Well as a quintessential urban hub hosting office workers and residents and attracting many more as a popular destination for shopping, dining, and special events.”

Aisle 24 will be joining other retailer as barista-style cafés De Mello Coffee, Fix Coffee + Bikes, and Quantum Coffee, and restaurants and bars such as La Plume, The Dorset, and Bridgette Bar.

Aisle 24 was founded in September 2016, in partnership with Knightstone Capital and Centennial College, it launched Canada’s first cashierless grocery store at Centennial Place student residence. The company continues to expand with over 20 locations and several new ones now slated to open in Ontario and Quebec. In Ontario, those new locations are at McMaster Graduate Residence in Hamilton, Revalie Student Residences in Ottawa, MCity Condos in Mississauga and Home on Power Condos in Toronto. In Quebec, new locations are to be opened at Cite Midtown in Montreal, MU Condos in Quebec City, and Espace Mont Morency in Laval.
