Beer Canada appoints Richard Alexander as president
Alexander to succeed CJ Hélie.
Beer Canada has announced the appointment of Richard Alexander as the associations’s new president, effective Oct. 20.
“Alexander is a veteran Canadian executive with extensive experience in hospitality, regulated businesses, business associations and effective advocacy,” notes a press release.
Alexander will succeed outgoing president CJ Hélie, who joined Beer Canada in 2021 and was a part of the Canadian beverage alcohol industry for over 38 year.
"I'm excited to take on this great opportunity and responsibility to ensure Canada's brewers, beer consumers and all those implicated throughout beer's added value supply chain from the farm to hospitality are well positioned to succeed and thrive well into the future,” said Alexander.
