Free health and safety support for Ontario businesses

WSPS offers free resources for small Ontario businesses.

Jody Young, the president and chief executive officer of Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) issued a press release after the announcements of recent trade war escalations. "As businesses continue to navigate economic uncertainty, we know many employers are facing new challenges and pressures," said Young.

"At WSPS, we're here to help. That's why we want to let you know about our Free Safety Support services, designed to help you strengthen workplace health and safety, address concerns, and find practical solutions for your business."

WSPS offers free safety support that is already covered through the WSIB premiums employees are already paying, which means there is no additional cost to access expert assistance, resources, and support.

The WSPS Small Business Advisory Service matches small businesses with under 20 or fewer employees with a health and safety expert.

Resources for operators and employees include help with workplace hazards, safety programs, training recommendations, or health and safety questions,
