Kraft Heinz appoints three new leaders to executive team

Simon Laroche to take SVP and president role of Canada and the North American business.

The Kraft Heinz Company is rounding out its North America leadership team with three appointments.

Simon Laroche, most recently president of Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Japan at Kraft Heinz is promoted to senior vice president and president of Canada and the North America coffee business.

Former Unilever executive Helen Davis also boards the business as SVP and head of North America operations. Rebecca Dunphey, who previously worked for The Clorox Company, joins Kraft Heinz as SVP and president of fresh, beverages and desserts.

“The addition of Helen, Rebecca and Simon to the North America leadership team is a huge step in our  growth agenda,” said Carlos Abrams-Rivera, North America Zone president for Kraft Heinz, in a press release. “Each brings world-class talent, and I’m confident this empowered team will help us drive our unique Kraft Heinz  culture and create a space to innovate, strengthen our competitive advantages, and unlock our power of  one team harnessing greatness.” 

Laroche has been with Kraft Heinz for more than four years, and brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry to his new role. Previously, he spent nearly 14 years at Labatt Breweries of Canada, where he held several roles including vice president of sales for the Canadian market. 

He will be based in the Kraft Heinz Toronto office.  

Davis brings more than 25 years of experience leading operations and supply chain for major CPG companies. Most recently, she served as head of supply chain, North America, for Unilever’s beauty, wellbeing and personal care division. The executive also held positions at Estée LauderCoca-Cola and Reckitt Benckiser

Dunphey most recently held the title of group president for The Clorox Company’s care and connection division. She also served as the executive sponsor of the Clorox Sustainability Program. Dunphey previously held several international and U.S. business unit leadership roles at Kimberly-Clark and Unilever.

Laroche, Davis and Dunphey will report to Abrams-Rivera. Davis has already assumed her new role; Dunphey starts at Kraft Heinz on Aug. 14 and Laroche will begin his new role on Aug. 21.
