Leadership changes on the CICC board
The Convenience Industry Council of Canada (CICC) has announced changes to its Board of Directors.
Jackie Bellerose of Wallace & Carey and Bryan Robinson of Canadian Tire are stepping away from their roles as distributor and retailer co-chairs, respectively. Following the acquisition of Wallace & Carey by 7-Eleven and in keeping with board governance of one seat per company, Bellerose’s time on the board has come to an end, said CICC in a release announcing the changes.
Robinson will be retiring at the end of April.
“Over the past six years, Jackie and Bryan have been champions of CICC and the industry—offering their time, leadership, and unwavering support. We are so grateful for their commitment. They will be deeply missed,” the CICC said in the statement.
John Carbone, SVP Canada for Core-Mark, will now serve as CICC’s distributor co-chair. Marc Goodman, VP and GM for 7-Eleven Canada—and a founding board member during his time with Petro-Canada—will now serve as our retailer co-chair.

New board members
CICC also welcomed a new director to the board, Mathieu Robillard, VP of retail operations and cardlock at Harnois Énergies. Robillard brings 17 years of experience in fuel and convenience, having led in operations, business development, and commercialization. He currently oversees a network of nearly 500 service stations across nine provinces.
Andrea Ongaro of Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) will step into his role on the board on May 1, succeeding Bryan Robinson. With 40 years of experience in retail at CTC, Andrea currently serves as Divisional Vice President of Canadian Tire Petroleum Operations, overseeing all aspects of retail store operations across 275 locations in Canada.
His responsibilities include customer service, franchisee network plans and programs, partner programs, store network planning, environmental stewardship, and new business opportunities such as EV charging stations.
