Rabba and Good Shepherd Ministries to host annual Super Bowl party for Toronto’s homeless

Annual event brings warmth, dinner and companionship to those in need.

Good Shepherd Ministries and Rabba Fine Foods, through its Rabba Roots community program, have partnered once again for the annual dinner in honour of the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

The event will be held at Good Shepherd Ministries at 412 Queen St. East. Good Shepherd Ministries serves between 900 and 1,000 meals per day to city’s homeless.

The annual event, the ninth this year, brings together over 120 men who are experiencing homelessness in Toronto to watch the game and be given a dinner, along with additional meals and snacks for the winter weeks ahead.

The event is being supported by donations from Pizzeria Libretto, Maple Leaf Foods, Lassonde, Campbell’s, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited and Conagra.

The donation features gourmet pizza, perogies, cabbage rolls, cake, cotton candy, chicken wings, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, beverages, and more. Additionally, thousands of snacks and 500 winter hats will be provided.
