Teresa Blakney takes on new marketing role at Conagra

Conagra Brands has tapped Teresa Blakney to lead the Snacks & Sweet Treats team as director of marketing. She will report to Lynne Strickler, head of marketing in Canada.

Blakney has had a string of successes since joining Conagra Brands in 2016. She has been credited with leading innovation within the company’s frozen portfolio, including the launch of Healthy Choice Power Bowls and Frontera.

Blakney has held marketing positions with Nestlé Waters and Campbell Soup Company, and has been recognized by Canadian Grocer as a 2018 Generation Next award winner and a 2020 Star Woman in Grocery.

In addition to her promotion with Conagra Brands, Blakney has also been appointed the event programming co-lead for the Network of Executive Women, Toronto chapter. In this role, she will help support women in growing and developing in the workplace.
