“During a year of challenge and disruption, the industry nominated a record number of exceptional women from coast to coast,” says CSNC editor and associate publisher, Michelle Warren. “The Star Women in Convenience Awards program keeps growing and so, too, does women’s sphere of influence in this ever-evolving industry. We are excited to shine a spotlight on their accomplishments and we can't wait to bring the industry together this fall for an in-person celebration.”
Now in its fifth year, Star Women in Convenience recognizes exceptional women making a difference and demonstrating commitment, innovation and leadership in the convenience industry.
Nominees play a wide range of roles in the industry, from owner/operators to leaders in retail, distributors, manufacturers, industry associations and consultants. New in 2022, winners will be recognized in one of three categories: senior-level star, shining star and store-level star.
In addition, the 2022 winners will be celebrated at the Star Women in Convenience Awards Event to take place at the Toronto Congress Centre on the morning of October 12, 2022. Tickets go on sale July 4.
