Amanda Marshall announced as chief lottery officer at OLG

Marshall will oversee efforts to unlock new commercial opportunities and improve player experiences.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG ) announced that Amanda Marshall has been named as the Crown agency’s new chief lottery officer.

Announced on OLG’s LinkedIn page, the agency wrote “Amanda will continue to advance OLG’s Lottery business—enhancing our product portfolio, unlocking new commercial opportunities, and delivering exceptional player experiences. Her stewardship will help shape the holistic customer journey across all OLG channels.”

Upon the announcement, Marshall took to her own LinkedIn page to write that she is honoured to be stepping into the role.

“Leading this business at such a pivotal time is a tremendous opportunity to shape the future of lottery in Ontario—expanding our offerings, creating new ways to engage players, and delivering experiences that truly resonate,” she wrote. “What makes this role so exciting is the incredible team behind it. The talent, passion, and commitment across the division have created strong momentum, and I’m energized by the chance to work alongside them as we build on that foundation. Together, we’ll continue to innovate, grow, and deliver exceptional experiences for our players.”

Marshall has held several positions at OLG since joining in 2021, focusing on modernization initiatives to elevate customer experience, strengthen digital capabilities, and expand channel performance across OLG’s retail and digital ecosystem.

She and her team work were tasked with working with OLG’s other lines of business and external partners to ensure OLG keeps pace with a changing marketplace and included oversight of the end-to-end retail and digital Lottery business, as well as enterprise brand and marketing and customer strategy and experience.

“I also want to recognize the amazing digital team I’ve had the privilege to lead,” Marshall added “Their expertise will continue to play an important part in the success of Lottery—and I look forward to collaborating closely as we continue to drive innovation together.”
