As part of its ongoing evolution, Groupe Beaudry is adopting a new corporate image that includes simply the name Beaudry. The new look will be implemented gradually over the coming weeks.

"In keeping with our commitment to simplicity, a value that is important to us, we are evolving our brand identity. In the near future, we will adopt a unified identity under the name Beaudry," the company stated in a press release.

While the legal entity remains unchanged as Beaudry & Cadrin Inc., for marketing and communication purposes, the name Beaudry will now be used to reflect a more contemporary image for the food wholesaler and distributor.

Over the coming weeks, elements of its brand image will be updated, including its corporate signatures, communication tools and digital platforms.

Evolution and acquisitions

The company, previously called Jean-Paul Beaudry Ltée and then Beaudry & Cadrin Inc., changed its name to Groupe Beaudry in 2018, after the acquisition of Roland & Frères (Saint-Pacôme, 2016) and F. Charest (St-Georges de Beauce, 2017).

Beaudry continued to evolve, and in 2023 acquired Groupe Saga (Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean) and Distribution Régitan (Montreal) in 2024.

The Quebec-based food wholesaler and distributor supplies grocery, convenience and foodservice operators across Eastern Canada. With major distribution centres in Montreal and Lévis, Que., along with a network of regional facilities, the company serves more than 5,000 customers from Ottawa to Atlantic Canada.

In addition to distribution, Groupe Beaudry supports independent convenience store operators through banner programs, marketing and merchandising services, helping smaller retailers compete in a consolidated market.
