Big Rock Brewery appoints new chief financial officer
Calgary-based Big Rock Brewery Inc. has appointed William Woods as its chief financial officer, effective Feb. 28, 2026. Woods has been serving in the role on an interim basis since August 2025.
Woods brings more than 25 years of senior and C-suite financial leadership experience, with a background in cost management, margin improvement and team development. Before joining Big Rock, he most recently served as CFO at Dyand Mechanical Systems Inc. His career also includes senior financial roles across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, natural resources and mining, biotech, transportation, telecommunications and real estate.

We now have all the management pieces in place to significantly grow our business and expand into new markets.”
Founded in 1985, Big Rock Brewery produces a broad portfolio of craft beers, seasonal offerings, ciders, hard teas and private-label beverages. The company operates breweries in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto, and trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol BR.
