Canadian Tire Gas+ unveils first Petro-Canada site rebrand
Canadian Tire Corporation will still maintain ownership of the rebranded locations. The rebranding is expected to enhance existing site productivity, give Petro-Canada's SuperPass commercial fleet program customers access to CTC's network of stations, and unlock future opportunities for CTC to leverage Suncor's scale and operating infrastructure, including providing more products and services to customers, such as low carbon energy alternatives.
"Through this new partnership, Canadian Tire Corporation will expand the reach of our Triangle Rewards program from over 200 gas stations to a network of more than 1,800, driving enhanced value for Canadians at the pumps by providing more opportunities for members to earn CT Money in a high-frequency category," said Greg Hicks, president and CEO, Canadian Tire Corporation at the time of the partnership’s announcement. "This is yet another way we're creating valuable relationships through the power of Triangle, which is a key component of our growth strategy."
“It takes an incredible team to bring a large-scale project to life, so a huge thank you to our Rebranding team members, who were integral to this work and to our Steering team who provided constant support. We also want to acknowledge and thank the hard-working team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As collaborative partners, they will continue to own and operate former Gas+ locations under the Petro-Canada brand,” wrote Petro-Canada on LinkedIn upon the unveiling of the rebranded location.
