Corby Spirit and Wine and Hiram Walker & Sons are extending their long-standing partnership for another five years.

Under the renewed agreements, Hiram Walker will continue to handle production for Corby's brand portfolio and both companies will keep providing administrative services to each other through Sept. 30, 2031. The original agreements were set to expire on Sept. 30, 2026, and the updated terms take effect Oct. 1, 2026. All other terms from the previous setup remain largely the same.

The deal secures ongoing production at the historic Hiram Walker distillery in Windsor, Ont., where flagship Canadian spirits like J.P. Wiser's and Lot No. 40 are made.

"These agreements provide long-term continuity for the production of Corby's brands and reinforce the strength of our relationship with Hiram Walker," said Florence Tresarrieu, president and chief executive officer of Corby. "With J.P. Wiser's, Lot No. 40 and our other brands produced at the historic Hiram Walker distillery in Windsor, Ontario, we are proud to continue building brands rooted in Canadian whisky heritage, quality and craftsmanship."

Because the partnership involves related party transactions, the agreements required formal review before approval. The Independent Committee of the Corby Board of Directors thoroughly evaluated the deal in line with Corby's related party transaction policy, drawing on external financial and legal advice before giving it the green light.
