Denise Lam is dedicated to enhancing workplace safety for employers and raising awareness among workers. She collaborates with associations, BIAs, and community centres in the service retail, foodservice, and manufacturing sectors to help small businesses improve their health and safety plans for compliance.

Bilingual in French, Denise has a diverse background in Human Resources, Restaurant & Hotel Operations, leadership training, Health & Safety consulting. She is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) Toronto Chapter, committed to fostering a culture of safety and professional development.

Her passion for safety extends beyond the workplace, as she believes in creating safe and supportive environments in all aspects of life.

Currently, Denise serves as the Account Manager for Small Business Ontario at Workplace Safety and Prevention Services (WSPS), a not-for-profit organization committed to protecting Ontario’s workers and businesses. WSPS supports over 174,000 member firms and 4.2 million workers across the agricultural, manufacturing, and service sectors. As a trusted safety advisor since 1917, WSPS has a rich history of making workplaces safer and is proud to be certified as a 2024 Great Place to Work.
