Harnois Énergies pilots 24-hour hybrid operating model

This new approach provides motorists with 24-hour access to fuel by combining on-site staff with remote monitoring.

Improving network access and efficiency
“We want to offer our customers greater flexibility while maintaining a high level of safety and operational efficiency. We remain attentive to market needs and continue to develop innovative solutions that address them in a practical way,” said Serge Harnois, president and chief executive officer of Harnois Énergies.
The company will evaluate the results of the pilot over the coming months to determine the next steps and assess the potential to expand this model to other stations within its network.
Safe and supervised remote operations
To ensure continuous service, participating stations switch to a self-service mode outside of staffed hours. The operational framework relies on a mix of automation and live oversight by offering direct payment at the pump and real-time monitoring.
A team is dedicated to security through an audio communication system and a camera network.
This hybrid operating model is currently being deployed at four stations:
- Chertsey
- Mont-Blanc
- Saint-Félix-de-Valois
- Sainte-Madeleine
