HOP Shops' disco bathrooms get a Halloween makeover
OP Shops is giving its World-Famous Disco Bathrooms a spooky makeover, turning the convenience retailer's signature attraction into a dance party set to Michael Jackson's iconic hit "Thriller."
Running through Nov. 5, the limited-time experience is available at all six Disco Bathroom locations. Customers can push the signature red button to activate the song, colorful flashing lights and disco balls for a spooky spin on the unusual retail attraction.
"We wanted to have a little fun with Halloween, and what better song than Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'? It's one of those songs that everybody knows, and you can't help but dance when you hear it," said Damon Bail, vice-president of retail operations and marketing at Valor Oil. "We're always looking for ways to make our stores more than just a place to stop for gas. We want people to have an experience they'll remember, and this Halloween, we're bringing a little extra thrill to that experience."
