Lay's introduces FIFA World Cup 2026-inspired flavours

An official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2026, Canada is the only global market to feature soccer stars on Lay's packaging, including two Canadian players.

Lay's is leaning in to FIFA fever and has created new chip flavours that celebrates soccer, the players and their fans. These collectible bags are only available in Canada.

The new flavours are ideal for game-watching parties, or anyone looking for an international twist on an old favourite. As the official snack partner of FIFA World Cup 2026, Lay's limited-edition chips feature four popular culinary traditions from the participating nations' teams. 

The four flavours are: 

  • Bacon Poutine (Canada)
  • Cheese Soufflé (France)
  • Steak & Chimichurri (Argentina)
  • Cheese & Onion (U.K)

Bacon Poutine flavoured potato chips 

The flavour represents of Canada’s most iconic comfort food, featuring the taste of gravy, creamy and salty cheese curds, and smoky bacon. Richie Laryea and Nathan Saliba from Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team appear on-pack, capturing the excitement of two of Canada’s own preparing to compete on home soil.

Cheese Soufflé flavoured potato chips

Thierry Henry is featured on the front of this French-inspired flavoured, featuring "a creamy and sharp toasted cheese experience."

Steak & Chimichurri flavoured potato chips 

The reigning FIFA World Cup™ champions, Argentinian Lionel Messi gives a "thumbs up" for a chip with herby chimichurri notes and a hint of grilled meaty flavour.

Cheese & Onion flavoured potato chips

With David Beckham on the package, chip fans and soccer fans alike can bend (elbows) like Beckham, snacking on this British-inspired potato chip flavour.
