Cameron McDonnell: Director of direct sales–West

Cameron McDonnell steps into his western region role with deep operational and business development expertise, alongside a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.

McDonnell recently worked in the automotive equipment industry as director of operations and business development for a paint booth equipment sales and service company. In this role, he managed day-to-day operations and successfully launched new territories in Dallas, Tampa and Denver.

He previously served as director of business development, sales, distribution and marketing for North America at Sealcon, where he managed outside sales representatives and a network of 83 distributors.

McDonnell's professional experience also includes work in construction management and HVAC.

"Cameron’s proven track record of growing territories, developing teams and executing strategic business initiatives will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence in the western region," Leclercq noted. "His diverse experience and operational expertise make him a tremendous asset to our organization."

Direct sales leadership transition

These new appointments come ahead of a planned leadership transition. Matthias Thomann, vice-president of direct sales, is concluding his two-year assignment with Mark VII. At the end of August, Thomann will return to WashTec AG, Mark VII’s parent company.

During his two years with Mark VII, Thomann played a key role in advancing the company's direct sales strategy.

Uwe Scharfy, chief executive officer and president of Mark VII, shared his perspective on both the departing and incoming leaders:

"We want to thank Matthias for his leadership and contributions over the past two years," Scharfy said. "His impact on our sales team has been significant and we wish him continued success as he returns to WashTec.

“At the same time, we are excited to welcome both Kaleb and Cameron to their new roles. Their leadership, industry expertise and commitment to building strong customer relationships will help us continue delivering exceptional value to our customers while positioning the company for future growth."
