National Energy Equipment names Jennifer Nivins as technology director
Canadian energy infrastructure and equipment distributor National Energy Equipment Inc. (NEE) has named Jennifer Nivins as its new Technology Director, expanding its executive tech leadership as the energy sector rapidly accelerates digital transformation across its retail and commercial operations.
Nivins announced her appointment in a LinkedIn post on September 28, expressing enthusiasm for taking on the strategic technology role at NEE.
Nivins brings extensive experience in enterprise retail IT and global fuel operations to the position. Prior to joining NEE, she served as the global director of retail IT for Calgary-based Parkland Corporation, one of North America’s largest independent fuel and convenience marketers. During her tenure at Parkland, Nivins led broad digital integration programs, point-of-sale infrastructure modernizations, and global retail tech solutions across extensive dealer and corporate retail networks.
The appointment comes as energy equipment distributors face growing demand for integrated, tech-enabled solutions—ranging from smart cardlock systems and automated fuel management platforms to advanced EV charging infrastructure and digital site logistics.
