Product of the Year Canada, the largest globally recognized consumer-voted award for product innovation, is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 Product of the Year Awards. Brands with products launched after January 1, 2024, are invited to submit their most innovative offerings for consideration.

The Product of the Year seal, backed by the votes of thousands of Canadian consumers, serves as a trusted shortcut for shoppers seeking the best new products on the market. Winning this prestigious award not only enhances product visibility but also provides a powerful marketing tool proven to increase awareness and drive sales.

In conjunction with the 2026 program, Product of the Year Canada has unveiled a refreshed logo design. This modern update enhances legibility and aligns with the global Product of the Year program, providing a sharper look while maintaining the credibility and recognition that consumers trust. The updated logo will be the standard for all 2026 winners and beyond, reinforcing Product of the Year Canada’s commitment to maintaining a fresh and impactful presence in the marketplace.

Product of the Year is the largest consumer-voted, globally recognized award for product innovation. Established 38 years ago, POY currently operates in over 45 countries with the same purpose: guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation. 

Product of the Year winners are backed by the votes of 4,000 consumers in a national representative study conducted by research partner Kantar, a global leader in consumer research. The award is a powerful merchandising program for marketers proven to increase product sales, distribution, and awareness. 

Winning products announced in February of each year are included in Product of the Year’s national marketing program and receive the right to use the Product of the Year honor and logo in their own marketing and sales communications for two years.
