Rabba Fine Foods opens 37th store in the GTA
Rabba Fine Foods is marking the opening of its 37th location in the Greater Toronto Area.
The urban grocery chain, which operates in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and Milton, has unveiled a bright and modern local market at the corner of Bay and Gerrard Streets in downtown Toronto.
It’s what the company calls a “signature” location and features a Rabba Kitchen by Paramount, which is a full meal take-out service that will cater to busy professionals living and working in the area.

Like all Rabba stores, this newest location is open 24 hours a day, which particularly convenient given he proximity to Hospital Row. Health-care workers can take advantage of the retailer’s 24/7 offerings, which include not only hot, ready-to-eat meals and freshly made salads, but also local and organic produce, fresh meats, Canadian and imported cheeses, popular snacks and thousands of grocery items.
“We have been part of the fabric of Toronto for over 50 years,” says Rick Rabba, president of Rabba. “We’re so excited to serve our friends and neighbours and look forward to bringing fresh and healthy foods to this vibrant community.”
Founded in 1967, the family-run business is known for its community service and giving back to the communities in which it operates. As part of its opening activities Rabba will deliver hundreds of gift cards to hospital and emergency workers at nearby Sick Kids.
In addition, the new location offers rapid delivery via Uber Eats. In April, Rabba announced it was partnering with Uber Eats to offer 24/7 delivery of prepared meals, grocery items, fresh produce, or snacks to customers in the GTA.
