Various brands of Curry Powder Madras recalled due to undeclared mustard

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a recall of several brands of Madras curry powder sold in British Columbia due to the presence of undeclared mustard on the label.

The affected products were distributed under the Glenwood Meats, Red Barn Market, The Old Farm Market, Root Cellar Common and Islands West (500-gram and two-kilogram formats), and may have been available at select grocery stores, convenience stores and specialty retailers across the province.

The CFIA said it is conducting a food safety investigation that could result in additional recalls. The agency is also working with industry to ensure the impacted products are removed from store shelves.

No adverse reactions related to the recalled products have been reported to date.
