Waypoint Convenience joins with Juno-nominated artist STORRY
As the Official Convenience Store of the 2025 Juno Awards, Waypoint Convenience brought live music to an unexpected place this June, transforming its Stoney Creek, Ont., location into an intimate stage for Juno-nominated artist STORRY.
Now, the full performance and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the mini concert are streaming on Waypoint’s social channels. The content is part of Snack Sessions, a campaign that’s striking a chord with customers and setting new engagement records for the BG Fuels-owned chain
“We’ve seen exponential growth on social so far, more than any campaign we’ve run,” says Amanda Simpson, convenience retail brand manager, Markham, Ont.-based BG Fuels.

Featured on Waypoint’s Instagram page as well as Facebook, Snack Sessions includes a Q&A with singer-songwriter Dina Koutsouflakis (known professionally as STORRY) and a live performance of the Toronto-based singer-songwriter’s new single, “Bum Bum.”
Since the July 23 launch, Simpson shares that the campaign has driven more than 1,050 new followers and a 519% spike in content engagement.
As of August 8, Waypoint had more than 6,000 followers on Facebook and nearly 5,100 on Instagram.
For the June 4 event, the 41 Upper Centennial Pkwy store in Stoney Creek was reimagined as a cozy concert venue. The concept was developed by independent creative agency Arrivals + Departures, produced in collaboration with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and the Juno Awards.
The campaign celebrates the intersection of music, culture and community—a natural fit for Waypoint’s tagline: “We are your fun Canadian convenience store that cares about your community.”
“We hope to spread the word to music lovers across Canada and show them what we’re all about,” explains Simpson. “Now more than ever, it’s important to celebrate and highlight home-grown talent.”
And while she wouldn’t confirm whether another in-store concert is in the works, she made one thing loud and clear: “Waypoint’s love of music and supporting Canada’s music scene will remain in 2026.”
BG Fuels operates nearly 250 Mobil, Esso and Waypoint Convenience outlets across Canada. Waypoint’s Juno sponsorship was announced in February and followed its 2024 Chart Topper contest which gave fans VIP access to Juno Week events.
Since 2022, Waypoint has also supported MusiCounts, the charitable arm of the Junos dedicated to music education in Canada.
