Harnois Énergies gas station chain, founded in 1958, has more than 200 locations across Quebec, Ontario and the East Coast provinces.

After sitting vacant for roughly four years, a Woodstock truck stop will soon again be welcoming drivers who need a break, some gas and a bite to eat.

The former TA Truck Stop—a popular stop for truckers along Highway 401 and Oxford County locals—was recently purchased by Quebec-based Harnois Énergies and is gearing up for a spring reopening.

"Harnois Énergies is proud to revitalize this key hub along Canada's east-west transportation corridor," company officials stated in a release.

Located at Exit 230 on Highway 401, the TA Truck Stop closed in 2022 when its U.S.-based parent company decided to leave the Canadian market. The property was sold in 2024, when it was acquired by BP Products North America. Harnois Énergies then announced its own purchase of the Woodstock truck stop on Jan. 22.
