Alimentation Couche-Tard has launched a new contest in time for summer. The c-store operator is hosting its first ‘Froster for a Year’ contest in Ontario and Western Canada.
Customers who purchase a Froster – a Circle K branded slushy – at participating locations between May 2 to 29 will be entered to win ‘Froster for a Year’.
"This is the first time we are offering our Froster for a Year contest and we are excited about launching this pilot in many provinces in Canada," said Liseanne Gallagher-McDonald, director of marketing, Circle K Canada. "As the weather starts to get warmer, we are inviting customers to stop by one of our locations and enjoy one of our many flavours and enter to win."
The company says it will award prizes every week during the month of May. Customers who purchase a slushy will receive a scratch card with a unique QR code to enter.
Residents in Ontario can enter to win one of 11 ‘Froster for a Year’ prizes, which will get them 365 free Frosters, any size, over one year. Entries are also eligible for one of 50 prizes of Froster pool floats.
There are 966 participating locations in total. The contest also takes place in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
Couche-Tard’s fleet of c/gas-stores operate in 24 countries and territories, with close to 14,300 stores. The company was recently named among the Top 10 Retailers of 2023 by RIS News, and is a 2022 Impact Award winner.
