Nayax partners with Allied Electronics to expand outdoor fuel payments
Nayax Ltd. is expanding its footprint in the Canadian fuel retail sector through a new distribution partnership with Allied Electronics, Inc.
The deal brings the Nayax Fuel VPOS Media 5 outdoor payment solution to fuel retailers across the United States and Canada. The partnership pairs Nayax's payment infrastructure with Allied's established forecourt technology network.
Supporting a shifting fuel market
The fuel industry relies heavily on convenience stores, which sell roughly 80% of all fuel purchased by Americans. According to data from the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), convenience stores generated more than $450 billion in fuel sales in 2025.
At the same time, customer payment habits at the pump have shifted significantly over the past decade. Card transactions now make up 81% of all fuel purchases at the pump, compared to 64% 10 years ago. This growing reliance on plastic has turned modern payment terminals into an essential tool for store operators.

Combining payment tech and forecourt control
The partnership allows retailers to adopt Nayax hardware through a supplier they already know. Allied has served the retail petroleum sector since 1978 and its systems, including the NeXGen PRIME forecourt controller, currently run at tens of thousands of sites.
Nayax Fuel operates as a dedicated business unit within the broader Nayax group, offering a mix of dispenser payments, forecourt control and station management. The division built its portfolio following the integration of OTI PetroSmart and Roseman.
"Allied and Nayax share an important focus on making the forecourt work better for retailers," said Eli Bar, general manager of Nayax Fuel. "Allied is one of the most respected names in fuel retail and our payment technology and solution give its customers a fuel-specific option built to meet the same high standard."
Meeting retailer demand for modern upgrades
Industry leaders point to an ongoing push toward hardware updates across gas stations.
"The fuel industry is moving through a modernization cycle and operators need both reliable forecourt systems and modern payment solutions at the pump," said Bob Danford, director of engineering and development at Allied Electronics, Inc. "Nayax complements our solutions with a purpose-built payment terminal backed by global payments infrastructure, allowing us to deliver the complete package to retailers together."
