Jess Spaulding is stepping down from her role at PepsiCo Canada’s CMO to take on a new role with PepsiCo Foods in the United States, leading marketing for Food Master Brands & Portfolio Transformation for PepsiCo Foods.

Spaulding took on the role of chief marketing officer for PepsiCo Foods Canada in April 2022, after having worked with PepsiCo Foods North America in Plano, Texas, where she had served as senior marketing director on the Cheetos and Intense Flavours brands. Her work in Canada had her overseeing the brand portfolio that included c-store products as Lays, Doritos, Smartfood Quaker, and Crispy Minis

Taking to LinkedIn to announce her new role, Spaulding reflected on her time in Canada, writing “I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude — especially for the exceptional PFC leadership team, Game Changer marketing department and agencies I had the privilege to work alongside.”

“Together, we pushed boundaries, built breakthrough creative campaigns, and elevated our brands in ways I’m deeply proud of, and even took home some hardware in the process,” she continued. “The passion, talent, and collaboration across our group inspired me every single day . . . While it’s bittersweet to leave such an amazing team and community, I’m energized by what’s ahead. I’m looking forward to this next chapter — continuing to build iconic brands, champion creativity, and deliver impact at scale.”
