Shell and Scene+ partner to add more perks to their loyalty program
As of May 26, Canadians can earn, redeem and save with Scene+, Scotiabank and Tangerine at over 1,400 Shell Canada stations from coast to coast. By adding fuel to its list of perks, the loyalty program helps make one of Canadians' most frequent purchases into its rewards system.
The national rollout follows a successful pilot launch in Alberta earlier this year. The pilot proved members want instant savings and helped shape the broader expansion for the Scene+ network. Now, Scotiabank and Tangerine cardholders can save up to 10 cents per litre on fuel and get extra perks through the Shell App.

- CLIENT PERKSScotiabank clients with an eligible Scotiabank debit or credit card linked to a Shell Go+ account can save instantly on fuel and earn Scene+ points every time they visit participating Shell locations:
- Instant savings of 3 cents per litre on all grades of fuel for all Scotiabank clients with an eligible Scotiabank debit or credit card linked to a Shell Go+ account - automatically applied and visible immediately at the pump.
- An extra 4 cents per litre in savings on Shell V-Power with an eligible Scotiabank credit card linked to a Shell Go+ account.
- Up to 3 cents per litre in Scene+ point value on Shell V-Power with an eligible Scotiabank credit card linked to a Shell Go+ account.
- Earn and redeem Scene+ points on fuel, car washes and eligible convenience retail purchases.
Tangerine credit cards linked to a Shell Go+ account can receive the following:- Cardholders can get up to 10 ¢/L in value1 with a linked Tangerine Rewards World Elite Mastercard.
- Instant savings of 3¢/L on any grade of Shell fuel;
- An additional 4¢/L instant savings when purchasing Shell V-Power; and
- Up to 3¢/L in Scene+ points value when purchasing Shell V-Power.
Clients up to 8 ¢/L in value1 with a linked Tangerine Money-Back Credit Card or Tangerine Money-Back World Mastercard:- Instant savings of 3¢/L on all grades of Shell fuel;
- Up to 3¢/L in cash back with fuel selected as a 2% category; and
- 1¢/L in Scene+ points value on all grades of Shell fuel, or 2¢/L in Scene+ points value on Shell V-Power when customers link their Scene+ Account to Shell Go+.
