7-Eleven Canada announces Bring Your Own Cup Slurpee Day
Canadians love the Slurpee, and no more than the citizens of Winnipeg that has been the Slurpee capital of the world for 20 years.
To celebrate this milestone and all things Slurpee, 7-Eleven Canada announced on LinkedIn that as part of the kickoff to the summer months, it is bringing back its popular Bring Your Own Cup (BYCO) Day for April 11 and 12. To make the celebration of all things Slurpee more memorable, 7-Eleven Canada is adding an exclusive flavour: Fanta Blue Raspberry.
And when it comes to cups, 7-Eleven is encouraging creativity. Canadian can bring flower vases to cooking pots, trophies to blenders, or whatever can hold a Slurpee.
“Maybe it’s the nostalgia for spirited and playful imagination, but there’s something about Bring Your Own Cup Day that always gets me excited. It is amazing to see the high level of creativity that is produced year after year,” says vice-president and general manager, Marc Goodman of 7-Eleven Canada.
In addition, 7Rewards Members earn 711 Bonus Points on BYOC days, and our contest for a chance to win $711 daily is still running. Plus, posting a BYOC photo on social media with hashtag#SlurpeeBYOC on April 11 & 12 earns a shot at winning FREE Slurpee for a year.
